Thanks very much. This is one in a series of photographs that I made using Genetically Modified Organism as the theme. I'd read Weston's Daybooks and attended a Kim Weston workshop at Wildcat Hill and it bothered me that bell peppers were being modified to make them uniform. (No more Pepper 30's) The series continues to evolve. Here's my Weston knock off - "The Kiss."
Ken, here's some important advice I want to share with you.... And I also feel it is an important advice fellow members should hear Your artistic talent undeniably shows across many of your images, with some truly sensational moments that I've openly commented on. Now, the key challenge lies in consolidating this talent into a singular, cohesive signature style that distinctly becomes 'you.' It's the next pivotal step toward elevating your photography to new heights, a point I've consistently emphasized in these Coaching Center videos. Focusing on refining and packaging your unique style will not only strengthen your visual identity but also help in elevating your work to new heights!
Effective still-life. The use of the light vignetting works well for this.
These flowers look like the rare "wire stemmed carnations". Very creative, Ken, I love it.
Great! Love the sparse arrangement, really works well.
Beautiful !! Exposure and coloring is perfect. Looks like a painting. Congratulations.
You've taken what could be just another image of flowers in a vase and made it special!!!
Nicely composed... Carrying through with your sense of composition that you show in your other images as well.
Beautifully done!!!
