This photo was the last time I lifted my camera after the first day out shooting a gig, following some illness. The day was very rewarding and rich with photo ops of my colleagues in the Jazz world, however exhausting after barely moving for a month. I saw this sillouhette from the seat I was parked on inside of Jazz at Lincoln Center's atrium. Then the next day when I posted it on FB, one of my colleagues proclaimed that he was a former student of his organization that mentors young musicians. I was so happy to find out not only who he was, but that I had captured a photo of one of my beloved colleague's prize students!
A Prize Photo of A Prize Student!....Love it! 😘
