Do your research…
Look through books, magazines, movies, museums, galleries. Find an artist that really inspires you, it could be a photographer, or a painter, a movie director, even a music composer, classical, jazz, rock 'n' roll, whatever…
The idea of this assignment is you're going to look for something that moves you, something that's going to inspire you. Look anywhere you can find inspiration to the point that you are provoked / you are moved, into creating that special image.
This is a very important assignment because, if you are inspired and driven to create an image from one of these inspirational sources then you are really starting to understand what’s it like to be a true artist, and it could possibly be what helps to define your style.
